Featured Architectural Projects and Heritage Restorations
A collection of our defining work in heritage conservation and contemporary architecture. From UNESCO-awarded haveli revivals to bespoke residential designs, these projects represent our commitment to preserving India's architectural narrative.
This view of Haveli Dharampura captures the soul of my work. We revived this 19th-century structure, blending Rajasthani and Jain architectural styles to create a space that honors its past while embracing a new purpose.
The journey of restoration is one of patience and precision. This shows the transformation of Haveli Dharampura from a crumbling ruin to a celebrated landmark, guided by detailed architectural drawings and a deep respect for the original structure.
In this suite at the Golden Haveli, every detail is designed to connect the present with the past. The arched doorways open to the central courtyard, creating a seamless flow of space and light, a hallmark of traditional haveli architecture.
The Lakhori Restaurant at Haveli Dharampura is a prime example of adaptive reuse. We preserved the original lakhori brickwork and arched vaults to create an atmospheric dining space that has been recognized by Outlook Traveller as one of Delhi's best.
My current endeavor is the transformation of the historic Lahori Gate Haveli into a museum. This project represents a vital step in urban cultural revival, creating a space to tell the story of Chandni Chowk's rich heritage.
The view of Haveli Dharampura's courtyard at dusk, illuminated to highlight its multi-level design. This project, which took six years to complete, was honored with the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award for Cultural Heritage.
It was an honor to have Dr. S. Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister of India, inaugurate our restored Golden Haveli project. His presence underscores the cultural significance of preserving our nation's architectural heritage.
About this collection
Effective restoration requires more than aesthetic care; it demands structural empathy. When we approached the revival of Haveli Dharampura, the primary challenge was not just the visible facade, but the internal structural integrity. We spent years mapping the original lakhori brickwork and load-bearing capacities, ensuring that modern hospitality requirements could integrate with the historic fabric without compromising the original narrative.
Our practice sits at the intersection of history and contemporary spatial design. We approach every restoration project as a conversation with the past, analyzing the vernacular architecture of Shahjahanabad to understand the building's original intent before proposing any modern intervention.
Whether we are working on adaptive reuse for a boutique hotel or restoring a residential haveli, our methodology is technical. We begin with comprehensive distress mapping—identifying structural cracks, foundation vulnerabilities, and dampness before any aesthetic design begins. This ensures that the intervention is not merely cosmetic. We source period-correct materials like lime plaster and Dholpur stone, collaborating with traditional artisans to ensure the tactile quality of the space remains authentic.
Beyond restoration, our portfolio includes luxury residential and commercial design. The philosophy remains consistent: we do not just fill space. We utilize light, shadow, and architectural volume to create environments that possess soul. From the courtyards of our Old Delhi haveli projects to the modern lines of our residential villas, we focus on the interplay between traditional wisdom and modern engineering.
If you are considering an adaptive reuse project or looking to build a space that honors context and craftsmanship, our team offers feasibility studies and structural consultancy to guide you through the complexities of heritage property development.

Architecture is a spatial story to me, not just a building project. My team and I focus on the conversation between old-world craftsmanship and contemporary living, saving history one brick at a time in the heart of Delhi.
