Scientific Writing Mentor & PhD Coach
I didn't just study research; I lived it. Between late-night manuscript edits, a toddler on my hip, and building a venture, I learned that academia is more than just data—it’s a human story.
A photo from my visit to my alma mater, IFGTB. It was a homecoming for me, and I loved every bit of being back on campus, sharing my knowledge with the next generation of researchers.
A picture from my visit to Karnavati University for a faculty development program. The campus was beautiful, and it's moments like these, surrounded by nature and academia, that I truly cherish.
A selfie with some of the wonderful people I met at the Researchers Fest at the University of Kerala. The campus was buzzing with activity and it was an experience to cherish.
At the Researchers Fest, surrounded by books and bright minds. Walking the historic hallways of the University of Kerala was a stunning experience.

In this video, I'm giving a preview of an upcoming workshop at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. I talk about the challenges of journal selection and how my session will cover everything from avoiding predatory journals to using AI tools to make writing easier.
A candid shot of me speaking. I find faculty development programs challenging but rewarding. It's all about connecting with the participants, landing the right humor, and creating an open environment for learning.
A wide shot of the classroom during a workshop. I love seeing a room full of dedicated faculty and researchers, all eager to learn and improve their skills in scientific writing and publishing.
A moment of reflection during a session at Vellore Institute of Technology. Sometimes you get a quiet, attentive bunch, and that works in a different, more somber way. Every session is a unique experience.
Here I am explaining a concept using a slide with the "Golden Circle." I find that visual frameworks are incredibly helpful for teaching complex ideas in a simple, memorable way.
About The Person Behind the PhD
Scientific writing is often treated as a cold, clinical process, but I teach it as a conversation. My mentorship is grounded in the reality of balancing a PhD with real-world chaos, meaning I don't just fix grammar and structure. I help you build a system so you can spend less time struggling with blank pages and more time doing actual research.
When I say I understand the academic grind, I mean it. My journey involved finishing a PhD as a single mother, building a venture, and learning to slash through word counts with my red sword. This experience shapes how I coach.
I work differently than standard academic consultants. We don't just look at the final draft. We look at the process. Whether you are struggling with journal selection, wrestling with IMRaD structures, or trying to understand how to use AI ethically, I focus on the tools that actually save you time.
My approach is built on three pillars:
- Realism: No textbook theory. We work on your active proposals, abstracts, and manuscripts during our sessions.
- Utility: We use live demos of reference managers like Mendeley or Zotero, not just slideshows.
- Resilience: Getting published is hard. My goal is to ensure you feel equipped and confident enough to handle reviewer feedback, not just submit and hope for the best.
If you see my photos from various campuses, you'll see a pattern—workshops that involve quizzes, Q&A, and tangible frameworks. I don't believe in boring lectures. I believe in helping you find your voice because I fought hard to find mine. Let's make your academic journey less daunting and a lot more authentic.
