About Me

I'm Sowmiya - most days you'll find me editing scientific manuscripts and battling academic jargon. Alongside my research life and raising a kid, I've built a venture and learned a lot about surviving the ups and downs in academia. For me, the real power isn’t in fancy tools but in each researcher’s story.

What I Offer

I lead interactive sessions for academic institutions, both online and on campus. My focus is on making scientific writing and publishing less intimidating. Whether it’s Faculty Development Program workshops or a quick guest lecture on NEP 2020, I keep things practical and straightforward.

• Faculty Development Programs: Deep-dive workshops tailored to your needs, covering everything from manuscript writing (IMRaD structure) to academic publishing strategies. Hands-on stuff, not just theory.
• Guest Lectures & Talks: Short, sharp sessions for events or seminars. Topics range from using AI tools for research writing to navigating India’s education policy.

I keep sessions interactive - quizzes, real stories, and lots of Q&A. No boring lectures, promise. I mix Tamil (local language) sometimes, so you’ll hear a bit of “seri, let’s try this” (okay, let’s try this) when we get practical.
