I partner with universities and colleges to deliver hands-on Faculty Development Programs and workshops that make academic research, publishing, and AI usage accessible for every scholar.

I was part of a fantastic panel of scholars for the Winter School on Academic Writing at the Kaisan Institute of Skill Excellence in Mysore. These hands-on training events are invaluable for early career scholars and PhD students.

Here is another look at the speaker panel for the Winter School in Mysore. It's always inspiring to collaborate with other experts to provide comprehensive training on academic writing and publishing.

I was grateful to be felicitated by the Principal of IIMC Degree College in Hyderabad after a two-day workshop on "AI tools for scientific writing & publishing." I enjoy hosting these sessions for institutions across the country.

A group photo with the bright young MBBS students who attended my talk on "AI tools in academic writing & publishing" as part of the AXON '23 conference for PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Coimbatore.

A homecoming! It was wonderful to be back at my alma mater, IFGTB, for a full day of sessions. I spoke on journal selection, the IMRaD format, avoiding plagiarism, and using AI tools. This selfie is with some of the 40+ participants.

A group photo from my faculty development workshop at IFGTB. It was a pleasure to share insights on everything from writing review articles to designing research grants with my fellow researchers.

Receiving a token of appreciation at the University of Kerala after my talk on how teachers can stay relevant in the age of AI. I believe in fostering higher-order skills and lifelong learning, which technology can support but never replace.

A happy moment holding a plaque of appreciation from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. I know a session went well when I'm bombarded with questions and the participants feel comfortable sharing their own stories and doubts.

A selfie with the audience during a faculty development program at Karnavati University. We had an in-depth discussion on the research and innovation perspectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

With Prof. Dr. Simon Thattil at the University of Kerala. It was an honor to speak at the Researchers Fest and experience the vibrant, buzzing atmosphere of the campus.

About Collaborations with Institutions

I don't believe in theory-heavy lectures. My workshops are interactive, hands-on sessions where your participants work on their own live research—structuring manuscripts, testing AI prompts, and refining journal selection strategies—right there in the room with me.

When I collaborate with institutions for Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and student workshops, my goal is to strip away the intimidation factor often associated with academic publishing. Whether I am at a premier institution like VIT or a university like Kerala, the format remains practical and engagement-focused.

Why these workshops work

  • Real-time application: Participants are encouraged to bring their current drafts. We spend time on actual IMRaD structures, cover letter drafting, and plagiarism checks, not just slides.
  • AI for academia: We look beyond the hype. I demonstrate how to ethically integrate AI tools for literature searches and paraphrasing, saving researchers hours without compromising on integrity.
  • Addressing the gaps: I tailor sessions based on the specific research culture of your department. Whether it is a workshop on grant writing, navigating the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 perspectives, or simply mastering reference management, the curriculum adapts to your scholars' needs.

Collaborative approach

I treat each institution as a partner, not just a venue. Having engaged with researchers at institutions like NIT, IFGTB, and Kongu Arts and Science College, I understand that faculty face distinct pressures regarding accreditation and research output. My sessions are designed to be safe spaces where 'silly' questions are welcomed, and peer-to-peer discussion is encouraged.

If you are looking to host a session, we start by defining the pain points—be it a lack of awareness about predatory journals or the need for better statistical tool usage. I then build a program that ensures every attendee leaves with a clear plan and the confidence to move their research forward.
