The dining area centerpiece, a custom 'Tree of Life' artwork from Rajasthan, perfectly anchors the space between cultural warmth and the modern aesthetic we established throughout Oak Lodge. This detail highlights our approach to integrating meaningful, personalized art with clean, contemporary furniture to create a home that feels lived-in rather than just staged.
Oak Lodge is a study in balancing warmth with a contemporary look. By selecting natural wood textures and pairing them with leather finishes, we created a residence that feels grounded yet modern. In the living room, the bold orange sofa provides a splash of energy, balanced against the cool tones of book-matched marble and wood paneling. Our goal was to avoid sterile spaces, ensuring every material choice serves both an aesthetic and a functional purpose.
Functionality remains a priority in the bedrooms. The master bedroom utilizes soft leather headboards and integrated lighting to produce a relaxing atmosphere. For the kids' room, we focused on smart storage by installing full-wall cupboards, keeping the area tidy while dedicating space for a distraction-free study zone. We also included a flexible guest room design featuring a hidden study area, accessible via frosted glass sliding doors. This allows the room to shift from a private workstation to a comfortable guest retreat without physical clutter.
