Home Renovation Transformations: Before and After
Renovation is about retelling a home's story. We turn forgotten corners and tired, builder-grade spaces into personalized, functional homes.
This is one of our most ambitious bathroom remodels. We knocked down walls to expand the space, integrating a walk-in wardrobe and creating a luxurious, all-white bathroom suite with a freestanding tub and shower area.
A before and after look at the 'Palaash' living room. We transformed this standard room into a warm, earthy space with custom wood and glass balcony doors, a rattan TV unit, and a curated selection of furniture.
Before: A plain living room wall with basic fixtures. This was the starting point for our 'Cover me in Sunshine' project.
After: The same wall, now the centerpiece of the living room. We introduced exposed rafters, a curved TV unit, and a cohesive color palette to create a modern cottage feel.
Before: The opposite wall in the 'Cover me in Sunshine' living room, a blank canvas with standard doorways.
After: We introduced two elegant arches, a custom sideboard, and a bar unit, all unified by ceiling rafters and a soft, textured paint finish.
Before: The 'Gulmohar' project began with a large, undefined space and a view with untapped potential.
About this collection
Every renovation starts with a floor plan audit. We don't just fix the surface; we look for dead space, like unused nooks under stairs or cramped kitchen layouts, and carve out storage or utility zones that actually simplify your daily life.
When we look at a 'Before' photo, we do not just see a project. We see the potential for a home that fits the people living in it. Many of our projects, like the 'Cover me in Sunshine' or 'House of Kismish' transformations, began as builder-grade shells that needed a rethink.
Our process involves identifying what needs to stay and what needs to go. Sometimes that means knocking down a wall to create an open-plan layout that lets in more light. Other times, it means gutting a bathroom to install a walk-in shower or a freestanding tub. We focus heavily on structural work, including civil and demolition tasks, re-waterproofing, and re-routing plumbing lines, before we even touch the aesthetics.
Why do we focus so much on the layout? Because no amount of beautiful wallpaper can fix a home that does not function. We use BWP Marine Ply for longevity, add custom wood and glass detailing to bring warmth, and experiment with archways and rafters to create depth. Whether it is a kitchen remodel that turns a dark, cramped space into a bright, Parisian-style pantry, or a staircase transformation that makes a functional metal frame into an architectural statement, our goal remains the same: a home that feels like you.
If you are struggling with a standard floor plan or a space that feels disconnected, we should talk. We handle everything from the initial structural changes to the final lighting touches in homes across Bengaluru.
