The 'Marshall' Collection: Retro-Modern Furniture

The 'Marshall' line started with a single request for a fluid living space and grew into our first full in-house furniture series. We wanted to capture the warmth of a vintage radio—hence the name—and translate that into functional pieces for the contemporary Bengaluru home.

Why the Marshall Look Works

We rely on specific design motifs to make this collection stand out without being loud:

• The Curve: Sharp 90-degree corners often break the visual flow of a room. We use radius (curved) corners on all our cabinets and consoles to soften the silhouette.
• Brass Detailing: Every piece features custom brass-tipped legs—we call them 'shoes'—and matching knobs. It adds a layer of refinement that catches the light.
• Tactile Materials: We mix solid teak wood with fluted glass or rattan cane weave. This adds depth and creates a subtle play of light and shadow, which is essential in smaller apartments where heavy, solid furniture might feel imposing.

Customizing for Your Home

Because we build these locally in our Indiranagar workshop, we can tweak the dimensions to fit your floor plan. If you are looking at a TV unit, we can adjust the rattan-to-solid-wood ratio to hide or show your electronics. For shoe cabinets, we add a lower open shelf for your daily footwear, keeping your entryway tidy without extra effort. These pieces are designed for real life, using high-grade plywood and water-resistant finishes to ensure they survive the daily wear and tear of a busy household.
