I capture the personality behind the celebrity, moving between intense character studies and polished editorial looks. Here is how I frame the modern man.

A powerful black and white portrait of actor Dev Adhikari. The high-contrast lighting carves out his muscular physique, creating a dramatic and intense image that highlights his physical transformation for a role.

A moody and atmospheric shot of Dev Adhikari. The dramatic side-lighting, unbuttoned jacket, and the smoke from the cigar create a cinematic, noir-inspired portrait.

A relaxed portrait of actor Dev Adhikari on a couch. The soft, ambient lighting and his casual pose create a comfortable and approachable feel, contrasting with his more intense looks.

A sharp and stylish portrait of actor Abir Chatterjee for Onnosomoy. The modern blazer and his direct gaze project confidence and sophistication, perfect for a formal feature.

A thoughtful, candid-style portrait of Abir Chatterjee in a vibrant red jacket. The outdoor, poolside setting provides a relaxed backdrop for this contemporary ethnic menswear look.

A high-key black and white portrait of Dev Adhikari. The bright background and his strong, direct gaze create a clean yet powerful image that focuses entirely on his presence.

An introspective black and white shot of Dev. His downward gaze and the dramatic shadows create a quiet, emotional moment, showcasing a more vulnerable side.

A compelling black and white portrait where Dev holds a chain in his mouth. This unconventional pose adds an element of raw intensity and edginess to the series.

A collage of black and white portraits of Dev Adhikari. This collection showcases his versatility, capturing different angles, expressions, and moods in a single, cohesive format.

A profile shot of Dev in black and white. This angle emphasizes his strong jawline and rugged beard, creating a classic and masculine portrait.

About Celebrity Portraits: Men

When we shoot, I focus heavily on movement and light rather than just static poses. If you're coming in for a portrait session, I will personally guide you on body language, adjusting your stance and expressions until we hit that specific, raw emotion that feels authentic to who you are.

My Approach to Men's Portraits

I treat a portrait like a scene from a film. Whether it is a rugged, noir-inspired look with heavy shadows or a clean, high-key studio shot, the goal is always to reveal something beyond the surface. My sessions are collaborative, meaning we define the mood before we pick up the camera.

The Session Experience

  • Conceptualization: We start by talking about the 'why'. Are we going for a gritty, unbuttoned, moody vibe or something sharp, sophisticated, and tailored for a magazine cover?
  • Technique: I use a Nikon Z series setup to ensure billboard-quality resolution. I frequently employ colored gels, motion blur, and dramatic Rembrandt lighting to add texture and depth to the frame.
  • Tethering: For commercial shoots, I use laptop tethering where possible. This allows us to see the hero shots in real-time, ensuring we nail the lighting and composition before the session ends.

Why it Works

Photography is not just about the gear; it is about direction. I spend a significant portion of our 4-hour session working on your expressions and acting for the camera. My job is to make you comfortable enough to drop the guard, which is essential for capturing that 'soulful' element I strive for in every project. Whether you are an actor building a portfolio or a brand looking for a hero image campaign, we will work together to create a visual story that stands out in a crowded market. My Bengali roots often influence the aesthetic, bringing a layer of cultural depth to the framing and color grading that you won't find in standard studio photography.
