Chic Outdoor Gatherings: Elegant Garden Event Styling
Transform your backyard into an elegant escape. We design refined outdoor spaces with warm lighting, hand-picked furniture, and thoughtful floral accents for your next intimate celebration.
For this 50th anniversary, I created a cozy lounge area under the trees. The setup featured comfortable sofas with colorful cushions, a vintage floor lamp, and hanging paper lanterns for soft, ambient lighting.
The main dining table was styled for a 'Vintage Romance' theme, with elegant wooden chairs, a long rustic table, and string lights overhead to create a magical, starlit dinner experience.
A detailed look at the anniversary tablescape. I used rose gold charger plates, delicate floral arrangements, and black taper candles to create a look that was both modern and timelessly romantic.
This floral archway served as a beautiful photo backdrop. I used a mix of fresh and dried flowers, including pampas grass, draped with soft fabric and surrounded by candles to create a dreamy, ethereal focal point.
A personalized sign that reads 'Together is our favourite place to be' adds a heartfelt touch. I placed it within a rustic vignette of vintage chests, lanterns, and pampas grass.
This outdoor event featured a full-service wooden bar set under a simple frame, allowing the natural beauty of the garden to shine. White paper lanterns and pampas grass arrangements tied the look together.
Guest seating was arranged to encourage conversation, with round tables and classic cane-back chairs creating an elegant dining setup on the lawn.

We pay close attention to the ground surface. Whether we are using your lawn or a terrace, we arrange seating to maximize comfort. We use sturdy wooden tables and cane chairs for dining, while creating separate lounge pockets with plush cushions and soft rugs to keep the vibe relaxed.
One challenge with garden events is creating a focal point. Without the defined walls of a hall, you need anchor pieces—like a floral arch, a styled bar cart, or a statement furniture display—to hold the room’s energy together. We walk through your venue beforehand to see how the natural landscape works with the event flow, ensuring every corner feels intentional.
