About Outdoor & Terrace Romance
When setting up on a terrace, lighting is everything. I use battery-operated fairy lights and glass-encased candles to ensure your romantic walkway stays lit regardless of the Delhi breeze. You do not have to worry about power points or wind blowing out the flames.
Planning a romantic evening on a terrace or balcony requires more than just good lighting. It requires managing the space to make it feel private and cozy. Whether it is an anniversary celebration or a surprise proposal, I focus on building a dedicated area that feels secluded even if you are in the middle of the city.
The cabana setups I design are the centerpiece. I use 6ft draped structures that create a sense of enclosure, which is essential for that intimate feeling. I combine these with floral garlands and warm white fairy lights to create a backdrop that looks great in photos but, more importantly, feels magical in person.
For your walkthrough, I use dense rose petal trails and glass cylinder vases to protect candles from the wind. This creates a safe, defined path leading to your dining or seating area. Since most terraces in Delhi have varying layouts, I visit and adjust the setup to work with your specific balcony or rooftop space, using wooden crates for tiered floral displays and added height.
