I treat every garden or terrace as a blank canvas. An outdoor setup is different from an indoor hall because you are working with nature, not against it. My process relies on heavy, fresh floral arrangements and sturdy draping that can handle the breeze.
My Approach to Outdoor Decor:
- Site Visits: Before we start, I need to see the space. A terrace setup requires a different tension-wire system compared to a ground-level lawn event.
- Lighting Control: Outdoors, lights can get lost if they aren't positioned right. I place uplighters and fairy strings strategically to create depth, so your space doesn't look flat in photos.
- Fresh Flower Focus: Whether it is Marigold, Rajnigandha, or seasonal roses, I use only fresh flowers. They bring a fragrance and a look that artificial decor cannot match.
What you need to know:
Good outdoor decoration requires a proper budget and time. I do not do 'sasta' (cheap) work because I don't compromise on the quality of my flowers or the strength of my structures. My setup team typically needs 4 to 5 hours on-site to ensure everything is secured and styled correctly.
