Featured Gigs and Open-Format Soundscapes
From high-fashion store launches to destination weddings, this is the sound of my open-format approach. No barriers, just pure energy.
A truly memorable sunset set I played in the middle of the world’s largest salt desert, the Rann of Kutch. Curating the music for a dream wedding in such a surreal landscape was an absolute highlight.
Spinning for the Dior store launch in Bombay. I love working with high-fashion brands to create the perfect sonic atmosphere that complements their aesthetic. This black and white shot captures the clean, luxe vibe of the event.
It’s not every day you get to DJ inside a historic basilica. This was for a wedding in Lake Como, Italy, an insane night playing alongside some incredible artists in a truly surreal venue.
This is what it's all about. A view from my side of the decks, with a packed dance floor and pure energy. My goal is always to connect with the crowd and keep them moving all night long.
Locked in and focused. A shot of me in my element, mixing tracks during a high-energy club set. This is where I blend different genres to create a unique vibe for the night.
You can’t beat the energy of a wild baarat. This was in Egypt for a destination wedding, leading the groom's procession with a mix of desi bangers and global beats.
A wide-angle view from the stage at a Casa Bacardi event with Homegrown. Playing for a massive, energetic crowd like this is a fkin blast. The energy was just electric.
A snippet from my feature in Travel + Leisure. They asked me about my essentials, and it really comes down to function: high-quality headphones, my custom Frostbite USB case, and a journal for my ideas.
About Featured
I don't play pre-recorded sets. My gear requirement is specific because I curate the sound live, reacting to the crowd's energy in real-time. Whether it is a luxury brand launch or an after-party, I need a proper CDJ setup to do what I do best—seamlessly blending Afro house, disco, and hip-hop to keep the dance floor moving.
Playing 150+ gigs a year means I've learned that a great set isn't about playing the hits. It is about reading the room. My approach to these featured events is simple: I don't lock myself into genres. If I'm spinning at a store launch for a brand like Dior, I'm curating deep house to match that luxe aesthetic. If I'm leading a baarat in Egypt or playing a sunset set in the Rann of Kutch, I'm shifting to high-energy beats that bridge different age groups and backgrounds.
I treat every event like a personal challenge. I've played in historic basilicas in Lake Como and at packed festivals like the India Cocktail Week, but the goal remains the same regardless of the venue. I bring my own headphones and USBs, but I rely on the host to provide the technical foundation—a professional CDJ console—to ensure the sound quality hits right. If you're looking for someone to play a standard commercial Bollywood playlist, I am not the guy. But if you want a genre-fluid journey that feels fresh, culture-forward, and keeps the energy locked in, that is my lane.

I'm Shrikesh. When I'm behind the decks, I'm not just mixing tracks; I'm reading the room and shifting the vibe live. I treat every gig like my own party, making sure the energy stays high from the first track to the last.
