Ditch the typical commercial sets. I bring high-energy, international club sounds—from Afro house to hip-hop—to weddings in Egypt, Italy, and beyond.

A truly memorable sunset set I played in the middle of the world’s largest salt desert, the Rann of Kutch. Curating the music for a dream wedding in such a surreal landscape was an absolute highlight.

Here I am at the decks during the Rann of Kutch wedding. The open expanse and the setting sun created a one-of-a-kind backdrop for a day of celebration and music.

Setting up the Sun Stage for the wedding in the Rann of Kutch. The architecture of the tent against the endless white desert was a visual treat before the party even started.

It’s not every day you get to DJ inside a historic basilica. This was for a wedding in Lake Como, Italy, an insane night playing alongside some incredible artists in a truly surreal venue.

Had the chance to connect with the amazing Fireboy DML during the wedding celebrations in Lake Como. Sharing the stage and ideas with artists I look up to is one of the best parts of what I do.

You can’t beat the energy of a wild baarat. This was in Egypt for a destination wedding, leading the groom's procession with a mix of desi bangers and global beats.

About Destination Weddings: Global Soundscapes

Logistics at destination weddings can be tricky. Whether it is a basilica in Italy or a tent in a desert, the sound quality ultimately depends on your venue's technical setup. I need to clear the technical rider—the console, speakers, and booth specs—early in the planning phase so we do not have to scramble on the day of. Tell me where your venue is and let's see if we can make it sound like a club.

Why I don't play the standard wedding set

Most wedding DJs stick to a safe, pre-approved list of Bollywood tracks. That is not my lane. When I fly out for a destination wedding, I am there to create a specific atmosphere. I play open-format sets that mix Afro house, techno, retro, and old-school hip-hop. This is for the couple that wants their wedding to feel more like a festival after-party than a standard ballroom event.

The Gear Reality

Since I travel with my headphones and USBs, the technical rider is the most important part of our pre-event conversation. For destination gigs, I rely on you or your wedding planner to secure a high-quality Pioneer CDJ console (usually 2000NXS2 or 3000s) and a sound system that can actually handle the bass. If the venue's gear is sub-par, the music loses its impact. We will map out exactly what you need to rent from your local AV vendor to make the dance floor stay packed.

Planning Your Musical Journey

Before we land, we will do a deep dive into your vibe. I need to know what energy you want for the sunset set versus the high-intensity after-party. I have played in wild, unpredictable environments—from the Rann of Kutch to Lake Como—and my job is to read the room and adapt to the crowd in real-time. If you want a DJ who understands how to bridge global beats with the energy of a desi wedding, we should talk.

I am not the guy you hire if you want someone to just hit play on a commercial playlist. I am an open-format DJ who lives for that sweet spot where deep house meets old-school hip-hop. If your wedding vibe is more international festival than traditional stage, we will get along just fine.
