About Afro Station: A Rhythm Festival
Afro Station is not just a workshop series, it is a 3-day deep dive into rhythm and movement held at our Indiranagar studio. You will spend hours with our faculty and guest artists working on drills and musicality, not just learning choreography. Expect to leave with tired legs, a stronger foundation, and a whole new set of friends.
Our Afro Station festival is built for anyone looking to move, from absolute beginners to dancers who have been training for years. We spend three days (typically Friday to Sunday) focused on the core of Afro dance: musicality, rhythm, and building a solid foundation. Unlike standard classes that focus solely on routines, we spend 6 to 9 hours on intensive drills that help your body understand the groove.
We host these sessions at our Indiranagar studio, which is equipped with AC4 grade wooden sprung flooring to keep your knees safe while you jump and drop. You get access to professional lighting and a sound system that actually hits, which makes all the difference when you are in the zone.
Beyond the technique, this is about the community. You will find yourself in cyphers and battles, connecting with other dancers who are just as obsessed with the rhythm as you are. We have water stations on site and the energy is always high. Whether you are coming for the Afro Station camp or checking out our other workshops, you are walking into a space where people genuinely want to see you grow. Kar lo yaar, come join the rhythm.
