About Our Founder's Journey: 50 Years in Ayurveda
My journey began with a simple reality: if the raw material isn't right, the medicine cannot heal. Over the last 50 years, I have moved from sourcing herbs for major companies to formulating our own range, all while keeping the focus on active potency rather than packaging. When you look at our work, you are seeing the result of decades spent learning which fields in Neemuch or which suppliers in Iraq provide the most effective herbs.
The Foundation: 1974 to Today
In 1974, starting in a small retail shop in Kalbadevi, I learned the hardest lesson of the trade: quality is non-negotiable. I spent six years understanding the brokerage side of the business, learning exactly where the best raw materials come from and how to identify a genuine product versus a substitute.
By 1981, I started Sheetal Pharma Chem. For years, we supplied raw materials to major brands like Dabur, Zandu, and Baidyanath. That experience taught me that the medicine is only as good as the herb used to make it.
Why Our Approach is Different
- Direct Sourcing: We source ingredients like Jethimadh from Iraq and Ashwagandha from Neemuch, prioritizing active content over market aesthetics.
- Expert Formulation: We do not work alone. Our formulations are developed in collaboration with gold-medalist Ayurvedic doctors, including practitioners formerly with Podar Hospital.
