The Story Behind ROOTS: Meet Dr. Sayali
I am Dr. Sayali, an MD in Ayurveda. I started ROOTS to bring traditional plant-based healing into your home, personally crafting every product to ensure it meets the highest standards of purity.
This is the reality of a small business owner. I am the formulation expert, manufacturer, packaging team, photographer, social media manager, and my own motivation. I wouldn't have it any other way.
On Independence Day, I want to share my mission: to help you achieve freedom from disease through ancient Ayurvedic principles. As a proud Indian, I am honored to share this knowledge. Jai Hind.
Hello guys. Come pack 40 soap-loaded gift boxes with me. This is a little glimpse into the hands-on work that goes into every single order.
A little fun in the clinic. You need to learn how to say "No" in life... unless someone asks if you want one of my gift hampers. Then you say, "No, I want TWO."
Happily declaring my Wild Turmeric Whipped Soap as sold out. We have sold over 200 units in just a few months, and I am so grateful for the extraordinary response.
"Ek zindagi meri, sau khwaisha." A day in my life packing Rakshabandhan orders. The peaceful, creative energy of my workplace is where my dreams take shape.
This is the most fulfilling part of being an Ayurvedic Doctor. I am professionally trained to formulate medicines and products for my patients, using the potent herbs that nature provides.
My aim is to incorporate the rich knowledge of medicinal plants into our modern lifestyle. Here I am making my Saffron soaps, a time-tested formula for glowing skin.
The ROOTS are expanding, wider, deeper, stronger. It was a fun and successful night exhibiting my products at the Panvel Night Flea market.
About Meet the Founder: Dr. Sayali
Everything you see on this page is created by me in my Panvel workshop. I am not just a founder; I am the formulation expert, manufacturer, and packer. When I create a batch of my Bhringaraj Ksheer Tailam or whipped soaps, I use traditional techniques like Kshir Pak Vidhi, ensuring that the herbs are processed correctly to retain their potency. This is not factory-made skincare. This is medicine-grade Ayurveda prepared for your daily wellness. If you are unsure which formula suits your skin type or hair concern, send me a message on WhatsApp. I personally review every enquiry and can recommend the right product based on your specific needs.
My journey began with a simple belief: Ayurveda should be accessible, effective, and part of your daily routine. As an MD in Ayurveda, I saw too many people struggle with chemical-laden products that offered quick fixes but no long-term health. ROOTS is my answer to that.
My clinic in Panvel is where the real work happens. It is where I conduct my consultations for weight management, PCOD, and diabetes, and it is also my manufacturing hub. The process is a family affair; my parents often help with the packing, and every jar, bottle, and pouch is handled with care and gratitude.
I focus heavily on the 'why' behind every ingredient. Whether it is sourcing wild turmeric for my whipped soaps or preparing Ubtan blends, I ensure we stick to ancient texts while keeping the formulations practical for modern living. My goal is to help you achieve freedom from disease naturally.
When you buy from ROOTS, you aren't just buying a product; you are engaging with a practitioner who cares about the result. From my Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapies to my handcrafted hair care range, everything is designed to be safe, chemical-free, and effective. If you are looking to start your healing journey, let's connect.
