About Flows & Tutorials: Learn With Us
Learning a new flow isn't just about copying moves from a screen. In our studio, whether you’re working with me or one of our instructors like Shaan or Arjun, we prioritize hands-on spotting—especially for the drops and inversions you see in these tutorials. We want you to understand how the fabric supports your weight, so you feel confident enough to let go.
How We Build Your Flow
Aerial arts might look intimidating, but every complex sequence you see in our videos starts with the basics. We don't just teach you how to climb; we teach you how to trust the fabric. Whether you are training at our studios in Hauz Khas, Vasant Kunj, or Suncity, the progression is always the same: safety first, then technique, then the flow.
Safety and Progression
We don't expect you to perform a drop on your first day. Our classes are structured with a heavy focus on conditioning—building the grip strength and core control required for these movements. When you are ready to try harder skills, we use professional-grade crash mats (4-12 inches thick, depending on the apparatus) and ensure a 1:1 student-to-hammock ratio during active flows so you are never left unattended while in the air.
Finding Your Style
Tutorials are great for inspiration, but your body is unique. Some students find their peace in the meditative sequences of our aerial yoga sessions, which focus on deep, fluid stretches and slow inversions. Others gravitate toward the high-energy acrobatics of our silk and hoop training, which demands more explosive power.
If you are new to this, start with our beginner-friendly hammock flows. They are designed to introduce you to the sensation of being upside down without the fear of falling. As you get comfortable, we can move you toward the more dynamic, acrobatic work showcased in our advanced tutorials.
