Meet Sharan, the artist behind the portrait
I am Sharan. My studio is where I turn memories into something permanent, using everything from charcoal to your own blood.
A wide view of my art studio in Bengaluru. It's where I bring all of my creative ideas to life, surrounded by my finished works.
Another angle of my studio, showing some of my larger canvases and works in progress. This is my creative sanctuary.
Me at my desk in the studio. Every portrait you see on this page was created right here in this room.
A candid shot of me working in my studio. I'm passionate about creating unique and meaningful art for my clients.
A candid photo of me on the streets of Bengaluru. My city and its culture are a huge inspiration for my work.
Just a casual shot of me. I believe in keeping things real, both in my life and in my art.
Another photo from my day out. I find inspiration everywhere, from the people I meet to the city I call home.
About this collection
My studio is a bit of a chaotic mess, but it is exactly where your portrait comes to life. Every piece, from the initial charcoal sketch to the final blood work, is created here with full transparency, so you know exactly what is going into your art before it even hits the canvas.
I believe art should be honest. If I am painting you, I want to capture more than just your features. I want the piece to feel like a part of you. Based in Bengaluru, my studio is my sanctuary and my workspace. It is a room filled with half-finished canvases, charcoal dust, and constant experimentation. This is where I prep my safe, hygienic blood collection kits and where I spend hours detailing hair and skin textures for my charcoal sketches.
I am not about mass-produced prints. Whether it is a traditional Warli mural for your living room or a sentimental blood portrait, I focus on the story behind the subject. I keep my processes transparent. I use medical-grade anticoagulants to preserve blood art and high-GSM paper to ensure your charcoal portrait stands the test of time. Sometimes I even add a touch of 'Ninnage Preethi' (For you, love) to the canvas if it feels right.
My goal is to provide a piece of art that is as real as the memory it represents. No fake stuff, just good vibes and a finished portrait you will want to hang up.
