Training a puppy is about building a bond that lasts a lifetime. I focus on communication first, teaching your pup to trust you before they follow a single command.

A puppy running out an open door can be a disaster. Here, I am teaching Golu door manners, showing him to wait for my command instead of bolting. This is one of the first and most important safety lessons for any puppy.

Puppy training is not just about teaching 'sit' or 'stay'. It's about building a foundation of good house manners, like not jumping, preventing separation anxiety, and being comfortable with car rides and vet visits. I explain the essentials every new puppy owner should know.

Does your puppy bite or run away when you try to groom them? I demonstrate how to introduce your puppy to combs, nail clippers, and ear cleaning in a calm way. Starting this early makes grooming a stress-free experience for both of you.

The 'down' command is incredibly useful for calming a hyper or anxious dog. In this video, I show you the step-by-step process of teaching a puppy to lie down, creating a calm and submissive state of mind.

Training your puppy to focus on you, even off-leash, is the ultimate goal. Here you can see Golu learning to follow me and ignore distractions on the street. This is built on a foundation of trust and making the training a fun game.

My job is to be a guide for your dog, helping them make the right decisions. Watch as I guide Golu to stay focused on me, even with all the sights and sounds of the street. You have to be their teacher.

Socialization means teaching a puppy how to be calm around other dogs, no matter their energy level. Here, a well-socialized Golu stays calm and composed even when meeting a very hyperactive dog for the first time.

A big part of puppy socialization is making new friends. Watch Golu's journey as he meets another Golden Retriever, Bo. They play, get tired, and learn to be comfortable in each other's company, even in the rain.

Training should be an adventure. Here, I take Golu on a walk to a local juice shop. He learns to walk calmly on a slip leash and gets a tasty watermelon juice as a reward for his good behavior.

Having a serious discussion with Golu about the importance of good behavior. The reward? A delicious watermelon juice. Every moment is a training opportunity.

About Puppy Training: Building a Strong Foundation

Puppy training is not just about teaching 'sit' or 'stay'. It is about house manners, learning to handle grooming tools, and teaching your pup to wait at the door instead of bolting. I teach you how to be the leader, so your puppy listens because they trust you, not just because they want a treat.
