Beyond the big film sets and brand campaigns, this is where I let my puppets loose. From topical skits and viral reels to meaningful stories on social issues, here is the lighter, more creative side of my work.

Using my art to reflect on current events. This image was created as a heartfelt plea for peace during the violence in Manipur.

A special conversation for Ganesh Chaturthi between Lord Ganesha and his vehicle, Undir Mama (the mouse). This short video uses puppetry to share a message about respecting nature.

A short, topical comedy sketch with my puppet character Chhotu Singh, joking about the movie 'Stree 2'. Creating these quick, funny reels is a great way to engage with my audience.

Another fun ventriloquism reel with Chhotu Singh, this time joking about the pressure to create viral content.

About Additional Work & Fun Projects

Creating these digital shorts is more than just fun; it is how I keep my improvisation skills sharp. When I make a reel about a trending movie topic or a social cause, I am actively testing how audiences react to specific comedic timing and character quirks in real-time. This is the perfect workshop for trying out new voices and puppet mannerisms before they ever hit a major film set.

While my professional work often centers on high-stakes film shoots and commercial campaigns, I believe that puppetry thrives when it is part of the daily conversation. This collection showcases how I use my puppets to engage with the world beyond the script.

Why Digital Puppetry Matters

In the age of short-form video, puppets offer a unique texture that digital animation often lacks. Whether I am using 'Chhotu Singh' to poke fun at viral trends like 'Stree 2' or creating a character to discuss serious topics like the situation in Manipur, the goal is always connection.

My Approach to Creative Content

  • Improvisation & Agility: These projects allow me to work quickly. I go from concept to upload in a matter of hours, which is vital for staying relevant in current cultural conversations.
  • Testing New Characters: Before a character becomes a brand mascot or a film villain, I often introduce them in smaller, lower-stakes digital videos. This helps me refine their voice and personality based on authentic viewer feedback.
  • Social Commentary: Puppets have a long history as storytellers who speak truth to power or share wisdom. Using characters like 'Undir Mama' to discuss nature and festivals allows me to blend traditional values with a format that families actually want to watch together.

If you have a concept for a digital series, a brand mascot that needs a voice, or a social campaign that could use a touch of tangible storytelling, let’s talk. My studio is in Chembur, but the stories we build can reach audiences anywhere.

I am Satyajit. While I have spent decades in professional studios, I truly believe puppetry should be part of daily conversations, not just big productions. I love breaking the fourth wall with my characters to talk about everything from movies to social causes, keeping the tradition alive and relatable.
