About Little Champs: Building Future Warriors
My mat is not a playground, it is a classroom for character. When your child steps onto the mat, the phone stays in the bag and discipline takes over. We focus on specific conditioning drills and repetitive stance work to build the muscle memory and mental focus that lasts long after the session ends.
Taekwondo is more than a sport; it is a way to build a strong mind in a developing body. At Sanju Taekwondo Academy, our 'Little Champs' batch in Bindapur goes beyond basic kicks and punches. We prioritize mental toughness above all else. In a typical session, we start with 20 minutes of conditioning—tire drills, agility ladder work, and core exercises—before moving to stance work and partner drills.
I am strict because I want my students to understand that progress requires 'mehnat' (hard work). We teach kids how to block, evade, and stand their ground. Whether it is situational awareness or basic self-defense moves, everything is taught with a focus on safety and respect. This is not about teaching them to fight; it is about giving them the confidence to never back down. If you want your child to develop grit, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle, this is the place to start.
