Live Sand Art Performances and Storytelling
I turn live stories into fleeting visual moments on a light table. From global summits like the G-20 to intimate corporate events, I use sand to create sustainable, music-synced narratives that bring your occasion to life.
This video shows the magic of sand art as it happens. I begin with simple shapes and, with a few movements, a detailed and expressive face emerges, capturing a moment of peace and introspection.
It was a true honor to perform a live sand art tribute for Mr. Azim Premji's 80th birthday and present this finished sand portrait to him personally. Creating custom visual stories for inspirational leaders is a deeply rewarding part of my work.
For the G20 summit in India, I created this sand art story to reflect our nation's theme of 'Vasudaiva Kutumbakam': One Earth, One Family, One Future. It shows how my sustainable art form can convey a powerful global message.
With grains of sand, I depicted the unfurling of our Tiranga, a symbol of India's strength and unity. This piece is a tribute to our nation and the spirit of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' during our Independence Day celebrations.
I was humbled to receive the 'Indian Iconic Artist of The Year - 2023' award from actress Pooja Hegde. This recognition for my contribution to sand art is a moment I will always cherish.
This sand art performance tells the epic story of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. I use flowing sand to depict scenes from the Ramayana, the devotion of the people, and the final magnificent structure, connecting with our deep cultural roots.
This sand painting, titled 'Circles', is an example of my fine art work. It explores themes of femininity and inner peace, using the natural texture of sand to create a piece that is both visually striking and emotionally resonant.
About Featured
For these live performances to truly resonate, the technical setup is vital. I perform on a backlit sandbox, but the magic relies on your AV team. You will need a projector and screen so the audience sees the sand transforming in real-time. If you are planning an event, ensuring the camera rig has a clear, unobstructed line of sight to my table is the one thing that guarantees the final output looks crisp and immersive for your guests.
My approach to sand art is rooted in the belief that art should be as temporary and natural as the medium itself. Whether I am telling a corporate brand story or depicting a mythological scene, the process remains the same: a 'Sand Melody' where music matches the shifting visuals.
Each grain of sand is a small piece of a larger story. When I performed for the G-20 summit, I used this to reflect the theme of 'Vasudaiva Kutumbakam'—one world, one family. This philosophy guides my work for every client, whether it is a tribute for a leader like Mr. Azim Premji or a performance for an Independence Day celebration.
I treat my art as a form of eco-art. It is sustainable, it leaves no physical waste, and it connects with people on a fundamental level. For corporate events, I work to understand your journey, product USPs, or legacy, and I recreate them live on stage. For personal events like weddings or birthdays, I script the narrative to match your timeline.
If you want to move away from standard presentation slides and offer your audience something grounded, tactile, and meaningful, my sand art is designed to bridge that gap. We create a visual journey that exists only for those few minutes, leaving a lasting impression through a fleeting experience.
