A deep dive into light, texture, and motion. This is where I experiment with food as art, pushing the boundaries of traditional still-life photography.

Part of my "Fru-Veg" series, this image is a creative still life experimenting with light and form. I constructed a sculpture using a pineapple, grapes, and a purple cabbage, using dramatic lighting to create a painterly effect.

Another piece from my "Fru-Veg" series, this composition balances a bell pepper, an orange, and a zucchini. The play of light and shadow on the vibrant yellow and orange hues creates an abstract, artistic still life.

This still life sculpture from my "Fru-Veg" series features a balanced stack of jackfruit, dragon fruit, and a pear. The dark background and focused lighting give it a dramatic, almost classical art feel.

This video reel is from a personal series exploring the interaction between fruit and liquid. It was a messy but fun process of capturing the textures of caramel dripping on a cherry and honey on an orange.

A close-up shot of a pomegranate half, glistening with a thick, honey-like liquid. This personal project was about capturing the intense color and texture of the fruit in a highly detailed, almost macro style.

A slice of orange suspended and dripping with honey, shot against a clean white background. The hard light illuminates the fruit's segments and the viscosity of the honey, creating a beautiful abstract image.

In this shot, I explored texture by peeling an orange and letting honey drip over it. The interplay of the rough peel, the juicy fruit, and the smooth liquid creates a complex and interesting still life.

A simple yet decadent concept of liquid chocolate being poured over a fresh pear. This shot from my personal series focuses on the thick, glossy texture of the chocolate as it envelops the fruit.

A slightly different take on the chocolate-covered pear, capturing the drip and flow of the liquid. The hard lighting creates strong highlights on the chocolate, emphasizing its rich, smooth surface.

A macro shot of a single cherry with a delicate stream of caramel dripping down. The focus is on the beautiful curve of the caramel and the deep red of the cherry, creating a simple and elegant composition.

About Creative Explorations

While these shots look polished, they are a messy affair in the studio. I spend hours perfecting the viscosity of honey or the precise drip of caramel on a cherry. This isn't just play; it is where I test new lighting techniques—like high-speed sync and focus stacking—to ensure I can handle any complex product or packaging shoot you throw my way.

What you see here is my playground. My 'Fru-Veg' series and liquid experiments allow me to break away from standard commercial briefs to really push my technical skills. When I am sculpting with a pineapple or capturing the exact moment a stream of caramel hits a fruit, I am solving real technical problems.

I use industry-standard lighting—typically Broncolor systems—and high-megapixel cameras to freeze motion and extract maximum texture. This means when we work on your packaging or advertising campaign, you are getting the benefit of these experimental hours. I do not just photograph food; I manipulate light and shadow to make textures pop, whether it is the rough peel of an orange or the sheen of a cocktail.

I am based in Andheri West, Mumbai, and work with brands across Mumbai and Pune. If you are looking for product photography that goes beyond the standard white background, let’s chat. I love collaborating with clients who want a fresh, artistic perspective on their products.
