If you are looking to break away from standard product angles, these shots demonstrate my approach to macro photography and high-motion videography. I use specialized lenses to pick up raw textures—like the unique shape of tortelloni or the drip of sauce—that standard menu photography often misses. While standard commercial menus serve a functional purpose for platforms like Swiggy and Zomato, my experimental work focuses on visual impact. I believe in capturing the sensory experience. That means focusing on elements that evoke taste: the drizzle of chocolate, the messy texture of a pulled pork bagel, or the steam rising off a hot dish. For these projects, I use tethered shooting, meaning you see the results on a laptop screen in real-time. This allows us to adjust lighting and composition on the fly, ensuring we get the perfect shot before the food cools down.
