If you are planning an editorial shoot or need a specific look for a creative project, the process starts with visual strategy, not just clothing. We build a narrative through moodboards, structural alterations, and precise accessory layering. Whether it is an androgynous look or a high contrast piece, I handle the sourcing, fit checks, and on set detailing so the final frame looks intentional, not accidental.
Editorial styling is about communication. It is how we translate a brand concept, a film mood, or a personal vision into a physical image. For my editorial work, I focus on the interplay of light, texture, and silhouette, ensuring the outfit does not just sit on the body but interacts with the space around it.
The Creative Process
Working on editorial concepts requires a different technical approach than standard event styling.
- Conceptualization: We start with a 60 minute deep dive into the mood. We decide on the storytelling element—whether it is about power, fluidity, or subverting traditional fashion norms.
- Visual Strategy: I create moodboards that define the color palette, the specific textures we need, and the desired attitude of the subject.
- Sourcing and Fit: This involves physical procurement from designers, rental studios, and boutique collections. If a garment is not perfect, I coordinate with tailors for structural tweaks like waist nipping or structural additions to ensure the silhouette reads correctly on camera.

In an editorial shoot, every detail is magnified. A stray hem or an incorrectly sized accessory can break the illusion.
