My Journey: Rankings and Professional Milestones
Professional tennis is a path of constant growth. I have documented my rise through the WTA rankings here, from my early crowdfunding days to breaking into the top 300. These milestones represent not just numbers, but the thousands of hours of work my team and I have put into this journey.
A milestone I'm very proud of, becoming the 6th-highest ranked Indian ever in WTA singles. It's motivating to see my name alongside some of the legends of Indian tennis.
Breaking into the top 300 for the first time was a huge moment. It was possible only because of the support I received through crowdfunding and from my first sponsors, which I am forever grateful for.
This graphic was created just before I officially became India's No. 1 player. Seeing the journey laid out like this is a powerful reminder of how far I've come.
I was so happy to join the Lakshya Sports family. Having a strong support system is vital for any athlete, and their belief in my journey means a lot.
After a title win in Solapur, I became the new Indian No. 3. Every win contributes to the climb, and it's a step-by-step process.
Recognition for my first top 200 win and the title at ITF W25 Solapur. These victories build confidence and prove that the hard work is paying off.
A short message for the Pro Tennis League. I'm always excited to participate in events that promote tennis in India and give us a platform to compete.
About this collection
My path to the pro circuit was not standard. I moved from college tennis in the US to crowdfunding my early tours, often working part-time just to stay in the game. That reality informs my coaching, because I know what it takes to persist when the odds are stacked against you, and I bring that same disciplined, process-driven mindset to every session I lead.
Every ranking milestone you see on this page—from breaking the top 300 to representing India in the Billie Jean King Cup—is the result of a deliberate, step-by-step approach. I did not have a textbook route to the professional circuit. I earned my spot by grinding through ITF tournaments and balancing training with the practical realities of travel and limited budgets.
This background shapes how I teach. When we work on your forehand mechanics or discuss match strategy, I am not pulling advice from a manual. I am sharing techniques that I used to win titles like the ITF W25 in Solapur. I focus on aggressive baseline play, footwork, and mental toughness, because these are the exact tools that helped me climb the rankings.
Whether you are an aspiring junior aiming for the pro circuit or an adult player looking to sharpen your game, I apply this same level of intensity. We will cover technical drilling, but we will also look at the 'hidden' side of the sport: nutrition, visualization, and match-play strategy. If you are ready to put in the work, I am here to help you navigate your own journey.
