A look into the philosophy and precision behind Sage Haus, featuring a selection of our most meaningful projects.

This double-height living room is designed to be both grand and inviting. By using classical wainscoting, a sculptural marble column, and an abstract chandelier, I created a space that feels open, elegant, and filled with natural light, perfect for modern family life.

A sacred space should feel special. For this home mandir, I designed perforated bifold doors for a sense of privacy and commissioned a local artist to hand-paint a serene mural inside, turning a simple corner into a place of quiet beauty and reflection.

A bedroom should be a sanctuary. Here, I used a warm wood-paneled wall, soft neutral fabrics, and minimal furniture to create a calm, uncluttered retreat that feels both modern and deeply restful.

I believe a master bathroom should be a private escape. In this design, a classic freestanding bathtub is set against a backdrop of textured stone and rich marble, with elegant brass fixtures and a statement chandelier to create a spa-like experience at home.

My approach to design is simple: I create spaces that are authentic to you, not just what's in style. I'm Somya Malhotra Bedi, and in this video, I share my philosophy on building and renovating homes that are timeless, functional, and beautiful.

Great design happens on site, not just on paper. This is a look at my hands-on process, where I work through the dust and details to ensure the architectural plans and mood boards translate perfectly into a real, livable space.

I believe a home should be a retreat, and this penthouse rooftop is the ultimate urban oasis. I designed this space with a pool, custom decking, and comfortable lounge areas to be perfect for both quiet relaxation and entertaining guests against the city skyline.
This bedroom is designed as a personal sanctuary. The tropical-themed wallpaper creates a focal point and a sense of escape, while the neutral color palette, clean lines, and soft textures make the room feel calm and restful.
My architectural work often involves using honest materials like brick and concrete. This facade design shows how I combine these raw textures with large glass panels and integrated greenery to create a modern home that feels warm, grounded, and connected to nature.

This apartment building in Pushkar, Rajasthan, is the hero of my portfolio, showcasing my ability to blend tradition with modernity. The facade integrates intricate Rajasthani jaali work with clean, contemporary forms, creating a striking architectural identity that is both grand and grounded.10
I designed this living room in a Jaipur apartment to be a harmonious blend of form, function, and comfort. The space features an L-shaped sofa, a statement chandelier, and custom wooden cabinetry with rattan details, all unified by a warm, earthy color palette.
This bedroom is a serene retreat where art meets architecture. The custom botanical wallpaper creates a stunning feature wall, complemented by warm wood flooring, layered lighting, and bespoke furniture to craft a space that feels both elegant and deeply personal.

This living room from my Casa Zen project embodies my philosophy of warm minimalism. I designed this space to be a sanctuary, where clean lines and a soft, neutral palette create a sense of calm, while layered textures and curated art add depth and personality. It’s a space that feels both sophisticated and deeply inviting, perfect for a modern family.8
A bedroom should be a personal retreat, and for this master suite, I brought nature indoors with a custom tropical wall mural. The design balances this serene backdrop with a plush, tufted headboard and soft, layered textiles, creating a tranquil escape that feels both luxurious and grounded.
Designing for children is about creating a world of wonder that is also practical. In this kids' room, I used a soft color palette and whimsical details like hot air balloon decals to spark imagination, while incorporating smart storage and a cozy window seat to ensure the space is functional and grows with the child.

We designed this living space to be a sanctuary, using natural wood beams, a sculptural stone coffee table, and an abundance of greenery to blur the line between indoors and out. A sanctuary designed to soothe. This master bedroom blends Japandi minimalism with rich natural textures, elevated on a warm wooden platform with integrated lighting. The cane-panelled headboard and layered lighting create a space where every detail whispers calm, embodying our philosophy of warm minimalism and zen living.
Design that moves you, both literally and aesthetically. For this villa, we integrated a sleek, all-glass vacuum elevator into the stairwell, pairing it with Indonesian walnut treads and an architectural concrete wall. It’s a statement of how we merge innovative technology with timeless materials for luxury and comfort.

This gourmet kitchen combines bold design with practical function. The dramatic marble island serves as the centerpiece, complemented by custom cabinetry with integrated lighting and a layout planned for an intuitive culinary workflow.
