My Story and Training Philosophy
Every dog learns at their own pace, and for me, it all started with my own dog, Bruce. Here is how I use positive reinforcement to build a trusting, happy bond between you and your pet.
This is me with my boy, Bruce. He's the reason I became a trainer and he inspires me every day. He taught me that most "aggression" is just fear, and that with patience and positive reinforcement, any dog can learn to be a happy, confident member of the family.
Welcome to SAGA. This is more than a business for me; it's a continuation of a journey that began with my own dog. I strongly believe in teaching dogs only through positive reinforcement so they can grow up to be happy and well-adjusted members of your family.
About My Story and Philosophy
I don't believe in using fear to get results. When you work with me, we aren't just drilling commands; we are figuring out why your dog reacts the way they do. Whether it is a fear of cars or a lack of confidence, we tackle the root cause using positive reinforcement only, skipping the shouting and focusing on building a relationship where your dog actually wants to listen to you.
How SAGA Started
It all started with Bruce. He wasn't just a pet; he was my teacher. Watching him navigate the world made me realize that a lot of what we call aggression is actually just fear shouting out loud. That is why at SAGA, I don't believe in scolding. Training shouldn't be about dominance or making your dog submit. It is about trust.
Why Positive Reinforcement Works
If your dog is scared of other dogs or strangers, yelling 'no' only confirms their fear and makes the behavior worse. My approach is simple: we work in steps. We start inside the house where your dog feels safe, and we move outside slowly. I will teach you how to spot triggers early, how to use your body to create a buffer, and how to advocate for your dog when you are out on a walk.
Working Together in North Bangalore
Whether you need an initial behavioral assessment to identify your dog's triggers or are ready to join our structured group classes, the goal remains the same. We focus on management, trigger identification, and real-world application. From home training sessions in Yelahanka and Vidyaranyapura to group obedience courses, I am here to guide you through the process.
Training is a journey, not a quick fix. If you are looking for someone to help you and your dog become a calm, happy team, let's get started.
