About Bridal Couture
My Approach to Bridal Couture
I see bridal couture as an art that captures stories, not just trends. Every outfit I make is rooted in tradition, but I like to add my own twist, mixing old-school South Indian vibes with a fresh feel.
What I Make
- Lehengas with classic or modern cuts, perfect for South Indian bridal style. I use fabrics like brocade, Chanderi, and even rich velvets. If you want a lehenga that feels like it’s made just for you, you’re in the right place.
- My blouses are kind of my thing. Expect handwork that’s detailed - think peacock, elephant, or even storytelling scenes. The back isn’t just an afterthought - I go all out with bead drops and bold designs.
- Into half sarees or Langa Voni for your Pellikuthuru? I do custom embroidered half sarees with mix-and-match blouses and dupattas, so you can keep it traditional but still stand out.
- For receptions or cocktails, I do bridal gowns and dresses that blend Indian embroidery with flowy Western shapes.
How I Work
Every piece is handcrafted. I do a lot of hand embroidery, zardosi, beadwork, and even kalamkari painting on silk. The process is personal - I listen, sketch, and then work until it feels just right. If you want something that’s not off-the-rack, but truly yours, let’s talk.
