Our Approach to Design
At the core of our work is the belief that clothing should be a slow, deliberate process. We do not rely on lookbooks or mass production. Instead, every project starts with a conversation about your preferences, the fabrics you gravitate toward, and the story you want your outfit to tell. By working directly with us, you are involved in every decision, from selecting the base fabric—be it raw silk, organza, or velvet—to deciding on the intensity of the zardosi or aari handwork.
Craftsmanship and Techniques
We specialize in intricate surface ornamentation. Our studio employs traditional techniques like zardosi, French knots, and beadwork to create textures that add depth to a garment. We pay close attention to the structural foundation of your outfit as well. For instance, our lehengas incorporate canvas fusing at the hem to maintain their flare, and our blouses are constructed with princess-cut padding and double-lining to ensure they provide a secure, flattering fit.
