Janmashtami: Little Krishna & Radha Portraits
Celebrate your little one's festive milestones with authentic Krishna and Radha-themed portraits, captured in my cozy South Mumbai studio.
Double the divinity, double the fun. These two little ones, dressed as Radha and Krishna, share a moment of reflection in this beautifully styled Janmashtami setup.
Our little Krishna sits thoughtfully amidst a sea of marigolds. The colorful Rajasthani umbrella and traditional attire make this a truly vibrant cultural portrait.
With a flute in hand and a hanging matki above, this little Krishna is ready for some mischief. The floral arch creates a beautiful frame for this festive shot.
This little Krishna’s infectious giggle is pure magic. I love creating these vibrant, festive setups that bring so much joy and celebrate our beautiful culture.
A happy little Krishna sitting on a golden plate, surrounded by bright orange marigolds. This shot captures the playful and sweet spirit of the festival.
A joyful portrait of our little Krishna, smiling brightly in a colorful, festive setting. The traditional charpai and props add an authentic touch to the Janmashtami theme.
Dressed as little Radha with her pot of butter, she looks absolutely divine. The rich colors and traditional details make these Janmashtami portraits so special.
Another beautiful portrait of our little Radha, ready to steal hearts with her matki. The details in her costume and the floral background are perfect for the occasion.
A quiet moment for our little Radha, holding her flute against a soft, textured blanket. The floral decor and peacock feathers complete this serene festive portrait.
Lying down with a peacock feather, this tiny Radha looks so peaceful. The yellow dress and floral elements create a bright and cheerful atmosphere.
About Janmashtami: Little Krishna & Radha
Since these sessions often feature babies under a year old, I design the entire setup to be completely baby-led. We keep the studio environment calm with soft lighting, and I never rush the process. If your little one needs a feed or a quick snuggle to settle down, we simply pause until they are happy and ready to smile again.
Janmashtami is such a special time to capture the innocence of your baby, and I absolutely love creating these festive scenes. Whether you want your little one dressed as a playful Krishna with a flute and matki, or as a serene Radha amidst marigolds, I handle all the styling so you can just enjoy the moment.
My studio in Lower Parel is fully equipped with traditional props like Rajasthani umbrellas, soft blankets, and vibrant floral backgrounds to bring these stories to life. I also offer unique milk bath options for a playful, splashy twist that babies usually find very entertaining.
Why these sessions work:
- Age appropriate: These setups are perfect for babies from 6 months onwards, especially those who are sitting up.
- Comfort-focused: I use high-quality, soft fabrics and baby-safe materials so your little one stays comfortable throughout the shoot.
- Cultural connection: It is a wonderful way to document your family traditions early on.
Because I prioritize natural light and authentic expressions, these sessions generally run for about 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us plenty of time for outfit changes and breaks. If you have a specific family heirloom you would like to include, please bring it along as it adds such a lovely, personal touch to the portraits. ✨
