About Meet Our Expert Trainers
Riding is as much about the teacher as it is about the horse. Our trainers do not believe in fluff or long theories. Whether you are learning your first mount or preparing for a show jumping course, you will get direct, actionable feedback. We keep groups small so every minute you spend in the saddle is focused on your specific progress, posture, and safety.
At Royal Equestrian Academy, we avoid the 'school of hard knocks' approach. Instead, we use a disciplined, army-influenced methodology tailored for civilian riders. Our team brings competitive expertise and foundational rigor to every session.
Our Training Philosophy
We prioritize safety above all else. Beginners start with the basics—proper mounting, balance, and rein control—often using lunging practice before moving to independent riding. You will not find us rushing you into a trot or canter before you are ready. A horse that trusts its rider is easier to control, which makes for a safer, more enjoyable experience.
Meet the Coaches
- Subedar Suresh: With 30 years of experience, he emphasizes posture correction and horse-rider communication. He is direct, clear, and ensures parents and students understand the mechanics behind every drill.
- Bharadwaj Phadke: Our competition expert. If you have aspirations for show jumping or dressage, his sessions focus on grid work, course navigation, and the athletic requirements of the horse.
Why Our Approach Works
Whether you are 6 or 60, a complete beginner, or looking to refine your technique for the show ring, the quality of instruction determines how quickly you progress. We focus on the bond between rider and horse because we believe that true horsemanship is about partnership, not just commands. We are here to help you move from your first ride to mastering complex maneuvers in a structured, disciplined environment.
Royal Equestrian Academy
We are a team of horse lovers, led by veterans and competitive riders who know the difference between just sitting on a horse and truly riding one. We do not do theory-heavy lessons; we get you in the saddle and start building your skills from day one.
