A Look Into Our Equestrian Journey at Royal Equestrian Academy
From first steps in the saddle to competitive jumps, here is a glimpse into the training, discipline, and community at our Sarjapur Road stables.
A rider and horse in perfect sync, clearing a 125cm jump. This is the result of dedication, trust, and expert training. We help our competitive riders reach for new heights in show jumping.
Meet our trainer, Subedar Suresh. With 30 years of experience in the Indian Army, I bring a disciplined yet caring approach to my teaching. My goal is simple: to provide solid, safe training and see my students and their parents happy.
Hear directly from our riders about their experience. From a first-day rider to those learning to canter and jump, their feedback shows the supportive and effective learning environment we cultivate.
This is where it all begins. We ensure our youngest riders, starting from age five, learn the fundamentals of balance and control in a safe, supervised environment with our calmest horses and dedicated instructors.
True horsemanship extends beyond riding. We teach our students how to properly care for their partners, including unsaddling and post-ride grooming, fostering a deep bond of trust and respect.
A proud moment for Team REA. Our students and their families celebrating their wins at the Embassy International Riding School. This is a testament to the hard work, community support, and love for the sport that we all share.
Welcome to our oasis in Bangalore. This aerial view shows our expansive facility, including our two riding arenas and lush green surroundings, where riders can train and connect with nature.
A quiet moment of connection between a rider and her horse after a training session. This bond is the heart of equestrianism and what we strive to nurture in every student.
About Featured
Most schools keep beginners on a lead for weeks, but I believe in teaching you control from your very first session. Whether you are aiming for competitive show jumping or just want to learn the basics, we pair you with a 'Schoolmaster' horse that matches your skill level so you can start riding immediately.
At Royal Equestrian Academy, we do not believe in fluff or endless theory. My approach is rooted in the 30 years of discipline I brought back from the Indian Army. You are here to learn how to ride, and that starts with understanding your partner—the horse.
Why Train With Us?
- Safety First, Always: Before you ever step into the saddle, we teach you how to approach the animal, mount correctly, and handle emergency dismounts. Beginners spend their first few classes in a controlled environment to build balance without risk.
- Beyond the Saddle: Being a true equestrian means more than just sitting on a horse. You will learn to groom, tack, and unsaddle your horse. This builds the trust required for high-level tasks like jumping or dressage.
- Progressive Training: We track your development, starting from the basics of mounting and walk-trot mechanics, moving up to cantering, and eventually, if you choose, specialized show jumping and dressage coaching.
Our Facility
Located on Sarjapur Road, our academy is a green oasis designed for learning. We have two dedicated arenas—one for beginners to practice lunging and balance, and another for competitive jumping. Whether you are a child picking up the reins for the first time or an adult looking to polish your technique, you will find a consistent, expert-led environment here.
