About Our Competition Success
Competition prep at Royal Equestrian Academy is about matching the right horse to your skill level. Whether you are aiming for your first clear round in a 60cm class or pushing towards 130cm jumps, we match you with performance partners like 'Ultimate Warrior' or 'Golden Gear'. We focus on your seat, leg strength, and course management, ensuring you are prepared for the pressure of a live event.
We don’t believe in long lectures or theory before a competition. If you want to clear rounds at events like the Japalouppe Annual Equestrian Games or the Equestrian Premier League (EPL), you need time in the saddle. Our training philosophy is straightforward: grid work, course practice, and repeated jumping sequences.
Our show team trains regularly on sand arenas designed to mirror actual competition surfaces. For our serious competitors, we provide video reviews of jumping rounds to identify technical errors in real-time. It’s not just about the horse; it’s about your ability to stay calm and execute your ride under the eyes of judges.
From debutantes making their first show appearance to seasoned riders competing in high-jump classes, the focus remains on the bond between rider and horse. We train at our Sarjapur Road facility, ensuring every student understands that a win is the result of discipline, daily grooming, and the commitment to learning how to handle a horse properly, not just sit on it.
