About Building the Foundation: Beginner to Novice
We don't believe in rushed lessons. Every rider starts on the lunge line—where the instructor controls the horse—so you can focus entirely on your posture, balance, and leg grip without worrying about steering. This is how we ensure you are confident and safe before you even pick up the reins on your own.
At Royal Equestrian Academy, we cut out the theory and get straight to the practice. Whether you are a child or an adult, our approach is physical, hands-on, and grounded in the discipline of the cavalry. You aren't just a passenger here; you are training to be a partner to your horse.
The Progression Path
We break down your growth into specific phases:
- Phase 1: The Lunge Line: You learn the 'Army posture' while the instructor manages the horse, allowing you to develop core strength and independence in your seat.
- Phase 2: Walking & Trotting: Once balanced, you move to steering and speed control in our outdoor sand arena.
- Phase 3: Independent Control: You learn to initiate the walk, trot, and transition, gaining the confidence to ride without instructor interference.
Horsemanship Matters
A good rider must know their partner. We teach you more than just riding; you will learn grooming, tacking up, and post-ride care. This focus on the horse-rider bond is what separates a true equestrian from someone just sitting on a saddle.
Located on Sarjapur Road, our facility is designed for focus, not distraction. We keep group sizes small so you get actual attention from the trainer. If you are serious about learning the right way, without timepass, this is where you start.
