Meet Dhananjay Singh: The Vision Behind Roboprenr
Get to know the educator and author behind our robotics and coding programs, and how we turn screen time into real-world skills.
I share some thoughts on crushing big goals in life. This past month has been eventful, with new students, a new book launch, and new webinars, all driven by consistent action and a clear vision.
I believe robotics is a superpower, but values are your infinite power. In this speech from RW2024, I talk about the importance of happiness, gratitude, and love as the foundation for true innovation.
I explain why robotics is a $24 trillion opportunity and why it's crucial to prepare your child for this future. Join my webinar to learn how to build a dream career for your child.
I share my thoughts on how to build a successful edtech startup. My experience has taught me to focus on adding value, winning parents' trust, and growing organically to refine our learning system.
It was an honor to present my book, "Electronics for Young Robot Builders," to Madam Pushpa Subbaiah, the managing trustee of Lawrence High School, a school that provides the very best opportunities for its students.
I discuss the confusion many students face when choosing an engineering branch. Early exposure to STEM and robotics can provide clarity, helping children discover their interests and make wise career decisions.
A proud moment as I congratulate Kailash, our Robotics Instructor, for being named the Superstar Teacher of the First Quarter. His dedication and passion inspire our students every day.
I explain the dilemma students face when choosing an engineering branch. My advice is to get started with robotics early to gain clarity on their strengths and interests, which is crucial for their future success and happiness.
I introduce our powerful and comprehensive robotics program. With hands-on learning, small group classes, and a focus on competition, we equip children to become future tech creators and entrepreneurs.
I share a story about a BBA student who enrolled in our Python class to avoid being jobless. It highlights a sad reality and reinforces the importance of choosing skill-based education for a secure future.
About Meet Our Founder, Dhananjay Singh
After 26 years in the technology industry, I didn't just want to teach code; I wanted to build a program that replaces rote memorization with real-world application. At Roboprenr, we don’t just run classes; we facilitate small-group labs where every student—from total beginners to competition-ready enthusiasts—gets the direct feedback they need to actually understand the logic behind the machine.
Bridging the Gap Between School and Career
I founded Roboprenr because I saw a disconnect. Students were spending hours on screens, yet they weren't learning how the systems they interact with actually function. My goal is to shift that focus. Whether we are covering Python basics, AI workshops, or competitive robotics, the methodology remains the same: stop reading and start building.
The Roboprenr Approach
- Small Batches: We maintain a 2-5 student ratio per group. This isn't for exclusivity; it's a technical necessity. When you are writing code or wiring a circuit, you need an instructor who can look at your screen or your breadboard and point out exactly where the logic failed. You don't get that in a class of thirty.
- Curriculum Based on Real-World Needs: My experience in the tech industry informs what we teach. We focus on foundational languages like Python and C++ for competitive logic, moving beyond the syntax to teach children how to solve problems.
- Beyond the Classroom: Having authored books like 'Electronics for Young Robot Builders,' I wanted to ensure that the learning didn't stop when the class ended. We provide resources, guides, and project-based challenges that encourage curiosity outside our HSR Layout center or live online sessions.
Why Values Matter
I often tell parents that robotics is the superpower, but values are the foundation. Teaching a child to build an autonomous robot is pointless if they don't have the discipline, gratitude, and curiosity to apply that skill ethically. We aim to produce creators who understand the 'why' behind the tech, not just the 'how.' If you are looking for a program that treats your child’s education with the same level of seriousness that a tech company treats its product, you are in the right place.
Roboprenr
I am Dhananjay Singh, and I built Roboprenr to give kids a path to tech mastery that schools often miss. My team and I focus on turning raw interest into technical competence through hands-on robotics and coding. I am here to help you navigate your child's STEM journey, from their first line of code to competitive-level engineering prep.
