Our Mission and Teaching Philosophy
Coding is more than just writing syntax; it is a way of thinking. Here is a look at the mission and the team driving our approach to tech education.
We are Code Minors, founded by seasoned software engineer Sakshi Gupta. Our mission is to make coding accessible, fun, and impactful for learners of all ages.
Our founder is a PCEP Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer and a participant at STEMpedia, an international boot camp for educators. We bring certified expertise to every class.
Happy Teacher's Day from Code Minors. This image shows how to print "Happy Teacher's Day" in Python and C++, celebrating our mentors in the language of code.
Another Teacher's Day greeting, this time in Visual Basic and Java. We honor the educators who guide us through the complex world of programming.
A message for our code-savvy mentors. We thank our teachers who have debugged our doubts and helped us compile the best version of ourselves.
We are inspired by monumental tech achievements like India's Chandrayaan-3. This graphic shows how coding was used to create algorithms, control systems, and program sensors for the mission.
The role of coding in the Chandrayaan-3 mission continued with managing communications, controlling rovers, and establishing system diagnostics, all powered by programming.
About Our Mission & Team
I started Code Minors because I realized that most kids learn to code by memorizing syntax rather than solving problems. Whether we are teaching Python or building a game, my team and I focus on the 'why' behind every line of code. We aren't here to lecture; we are here to guide your child through real-world challenges, using projects that make logical sense to them.
Our Approach: Thinking Over Typing
At Code Minors, we believe the most important skill in tech is not knowing a specific programming language, but knowing how to break down a complex problem into manageable steps.
The Mission When I founded Code Minors, my goal was simple: to make technology accessible and impactful. I didn't want students to just stare at screens; I wanted them to build with them. We move away from rote learning and toward 'project-based' understanding. If a student can build a small app or debug a simple game, they stop being a passive consumer of tech and start being a creator.
Meet the Mentors Our teaching team consists of software engineers and IIT alumni who have worked in the industry. We know that real-world tech is messy, and we bring that reality into our classes.
- Practical Experience: We don't just teach theory. Our mentors have experience in companies like Microsoft and can explain why a piece of code works or why a bug happens.
- Customized Learning: Whether your child is 6 or 18, we adapt our language—literally and figuratively. We use Python, Scratch, and other tools, but the focus remains on logic.
- Supportive Environment: We are proud to run specific bootcamps for girls and beginners to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, feels confident in the coding space.
Whether you are looking for introductory coding classes or advanced AI workshops, our team is here to help your child find their rhythm in the world of programming.
Code Minors
I'm Sakshi Gupta. I founded Code Minors to change how kids see tech—not as a screen they stare at, but as a toolkit they can build with. My team includes professionals from backgrounds like IIT and Microsoft who love breaking down complex concepts so any student can grasp them.
