Editorial and Creative Makeup Portfolio
A showcase of my artistic work, from fashion-forward editorial concepts to clean, high-definition looks for commercial campaigns.
A test shoot featuring a model in an elegant green ethnic suit. The makeup is dewy and minimal, with soft curls in her hair to create a fresh and sophisticated look.
A direct portrait from the same shoot, showing the clean, dewy makeup that enhances the model's natural features.
A close up highlighting the flawless skin work and subtle contouring. This type of minimal glam is perfect for both editorial shoots and party makeup.
The full ethnic look, showing how the hair and makeup complement the rich green and gold attire.
A classic look featuring a sharp, brown winged eyeliner and a sleek low bun. This makeup is paired with a floral yellow saree and a maang tikka for a timeless appeal.
A full-length view of the modern saree draping and classic makeup. The brown eyeliner is a softer alternative to black, perfect for daytime events.
A royal and intense look created for a portfolio shoot. It features a dramatic smokey eye and a dewy base, paired with a sleek low bun to highlight the model's features.
The model draped in a rich maroon saree, giving a regal and mysterious vibe. The smokey eye makeup adds to the drama of the shot.
A full view of the royal red saree look. The makeup and hair are kept clean and sharp to let the intricate saree and the model's powerful presence stand out.
A powerful portrait where the smokey eyes are the main focus. This demonstrates my skill in creating bold, yet clean and well-blended eye makeup.
About Editorial & Creative Portfolio
Creative work demands a different approach to base makeup than bridal; it is about how the product reacts under high-intensity studio lighting. I prioritize a refined, skin-first finish, using professional-grade bases from brands like Charlotte Tilbury and MAC that provide high definition without looking heavy on camera.
In editorial and commercial projects, the makeup needs to tell a story while remaining structurally sound for long shoot days. Whether I am recreating specific period-inspired themes like the Heeramandi look or working on modern minimalist concepts for a brand campaign, the focus remains on technical precision and hygiene.
I regularly collaborate with agencies, models, and photographers across Mumbai. This involves understanding the lighting setup—be it natural daylight or harsh studio strobe—and adjusting the base, contour, and highlight accordingly. For me, creative shoots are the perfect environment to push beyond traditional bridal constraints and experiment with textures, sharp winged liners, or dramatic, pigmented eye looks.
My kit is always prepped for versatility, ensuring that I can pivot from a fresh, dewy editorial look to a high-glam, structured style on the same set. I maintain the same international hygiene standards during these shoots as I do with my bridal clients, so the process remains efficient for the entire crew.
