Featured Makeup & Hair Portfolio
A curated collection of my most impactful projects across high-fashion editorials, national television campaigns, and celebrity styling.
This print spread for Audi in Vogue India was a milestone project. I created a sophisticated and elegant makeup look that complemented the luxury of the brand, ensuring the models looked timeless and radiant under the studio lights.
For this campaign with Indian cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur, the goal was a clean, strong, and camera-ready look. I focused on natural-looking skin and subtle definition to highlight her features for this CREX ad, ensuring she looked confident and polished.
I was part of the makeup team for the massive Birla Opus Paints IPL campaign. This project involved creating distinct, camera-perfect grooming looks for players from all 10 teams for a series of 40 films, requiring speed, precision, and consistency.
A classic beauty shot from a campaign for Aukera Jewellery. The focus here was on creating a joyful and radiant look with glowing skin, a bold red lip, and defined eyes that make the diamonds and the model's smile shine.
This image from the Kaaj Button Studio campaign showcases my expertise in men's grooming. I created a sharp, defined look that enhances the models' features for this festive wear shoot, ensuring a polished and masculine appearance.
A glimpse from the TV commercial for Comfort. I designed a fresh, natural makeup and hair look for the model that transitions seamlessly from a casual, at-home feel to a soft glam moment, highlighting a healthy, glowing complexion.
On the runway for the Wella Professionals showcase, I created this edgy and modern makeup look. The clean skin and defined eyes were designed to complement the bold, blue-toned creative hairstyle, making a strong statement on stage.
A behind the scenes look at the final touches for my first Vogue shoot. This video captures the soft glam makeup, featuring luminous skin and defined, smoky eyes, paired with elegant waves for a complete bridal couture look.
About Featured
When you are on a 10-hour shoot for a TVC or a print campaign, the makeup needs to stay perfect from the first shot to the last. I spend my time at the monitor, not just applying foundation. My kit is always set up for quick touch-ups, flyaway hair management, and lipstick checks so the director does not have to call 'cut' for a smudge.
This featured collection represents my range, from clean, skin-finish looks for brands like Crex and Comfort to the bold, creative styles I designed for the Wella Professionals showcase. Whether I am working with athletes like Harmanpreet Kaur for a fast-paced IPL film or creating a sophisticated look for a Vogue India feature, my goal remains the same: the makeup must look flawless on camera while remaining comfortable for the talent.
My Approach to Commercial Work
Working in fashion and advertising requires a specific set of skills beyond just artistry. I focus on:
- Continuity Management: I keep my eyes on the monitor throughout the shoot. If the hair moves or a product label needs a touch-up, I handle it instantly.
- Skin Prep & Texture: Whether it is HD foundation for 4K video or a soft matte finish for print, I customize the base to ensure it reflects light correctly without looking cakey.
- Collaborative Logistics: I understand that a set is a machine. I work closely with production designers and directors to ensure the look we build fits the narrative of the film or the vibe of the editorial.
I treat every project as a unique opportunity to experiment. Sometimes that means a 'no-makeup' makeup look for a skincare brand, and other times it involves #glamxriya—my signature bolder, editorial style. I am based in Mumbai but I am accustomed to traveling for shoots across India. If you are looking for an artist who understands the technical demands of the lens and the pace of a professional set, let’s talk about your vision.
