During shoots for brands like Lakme or various editorial campaigns, I focus on using flash-back proof foundations and skin preparation that keeps the face breathable while maintaining a natural glow. I constantly monitor the shoot environment, adjusting for sweat in humid climates or hydration needs in the cold, ensuring your look stays consistent from the first shot to the last.
Collaboration is Key
A successful shoot is a team effort. I work closely with photographers and lighting directors to understand how the makeup needs to sit. If the lighting is harsh, we adjust the shimmer. If it is a soft, natural aesthetic, we keep the skin texture clean. You will often see me on set making touch-ups, managing flyaways, and keeping a close watch on how the light hits your face.
