About Commercial & Celebrity Styling
Every 8-hour shoot day I manage includes the full cycle: moodboard creation, sourcing from both niche boutiques and high-street brands, and on-set wardrobe management. I show up with a full professional kit—fashion tape, steamers, and clips—so we spend time capturing the shot, not fixing a loose thread or a bad drape.
My approach to commercial and celebrity styling isn't about just following trends. It's about translating a script or a brand's objective into a visual story that feels authentic. When I worked on the Titan Eye Plus campaign with Ayushmann Khurrana, the goal was to ensure the costume supported the brand's narrative without distracting from the interaction. That's the balance I bring to every project.
The Process
For ad films and brand campaigns, I typically structure the workflow into three stages:
- Pre-Production: We start with a moodboard and style narrative to get the color palette and look right before a single garment is sourced.
- Sourcing: I handle the logistics, spending 2-3 days procuring pieces from designers and boutiques. (Note: Rental costs are handled separately by your production team).
- On-Set Execution: I’m on set for the full 8 hours. Whether it’s pinning a collar for a close-up or managing quick outfit changes, I keep the aesthetic tight so the DOP and director can focus on the frame.
