This project was about making the impossible possible. I took an AI-generated fashion concept and engineered it into a real overdress, complete with structured puff sleeves and a neon-taped grid on sheer fabric.
As a costume designer for the film 'Love Insurance Kompany', I co-designed this look for the official poster. The brief required a futuristic, AI-inspired outfit, which we created from scratch to fit the movie's theme.

When you bring me a concept, the first step is figuring out the structure. Whether it’s an AI design that looks impossible on a screen or just a sketch on a napkin, I break it down into patterns, materials, and fittings to make sure it actually works on your body. It is a back-and-forth process, not just a transaction.
Turning a fleeting idea into something you can wear takes more than just sewing skills. It is about engineering. We start with a conversation about the 'why' and the 'vibe'. If you have an AI reference or a movie look in mind, I analyze the structure first. Can it hold its shape? Does it need structural boning or specific fabrics like PVC or sheer organzas?
Recently, I turned an AI-generated fashion concept into a full-scale overdress for a film poster. That meant sourcing the right sheer fabric and adding neon tape grids that maintained their structure without being stiff.
I work with you through at least one or two fittings, especially for complex bespoke pieces in Mumbai, to ensure the fit is precise. From sourcing vintage patches to hand-tacking 3D embellishments, no detail is too small. If you want a garment that tells your story, let’s get into the details and make it happen.
