Hi, I'm Ridhii, the artist behind the custom work you see here. My studio is my creative space, surrounded by inspiration and a whole lot of sneaker boxes. This is where I design and paint everything by hand.
A little get-to-know-me. I'm a Mumbai-based artist who uses sneakers and bags as my canvas, and I always try to sprinkle a bit of my personality into every piece. Welcome to my organized chaos.
Welcome to the chaos. Before I could create my dream art studio, it started like this: a room full of paint, brushes, and lots of sneaker boxes. This is the real, unfiltered start of my workspace revamp.
Part two of my studio revamp. After the initial chaos, I started adding pieces that inspire me, like this cool drip-effect decor. It's all about creating a space that feels like me and fuels my creativity.
Moving to Mumbai was a huge step, and setting up my new workspace was a journey in itself. This video shows how I found my little piece of home and my creative sanctuary right here in the city.
About Behind The Scenes: My Creative Process
People ask me if I really paint everything by hand, and the answer is yes. Every line, shade, and pattern on the sneakers I customize comes from hours of 'Prep-Paint-Protect' work in my Mumbai studio. It is not just about making them look cool; it is about ensuring your design survives the humidity and daily wear so the art stays crisp.
The Reality of Customization
When you see the final product, you do not see the hours of prep work. I start by stripping the factory finish so the paint actually sticks to the leather—if I do not do this, your art will crack within weeks. Using industry-standard Angelus leather paints, I layer the design, heat-set it, and finish with a water-resistant sealant. This ensures your custom Nike AF1s or tote bags are ready for the streets, not just a display shelf.

Moving my workspace to Mumbai was a lesson in patience. Finding that corner where inspiration meets functionality was a journey. I keep my process transparent because customization should not feel like a secret code.
