Custom Hand-Painted Sneakers & Art Workshops
Hi, I'm Ridhii. Whether I'm turning your favorite coffee beans into dye for sneakers or hosting a creative workshop, I'm all about making art that feels 100% like you. Let's create something real.
This is what happens when my two loves, coffee and sneakers, come together. I collaborated with a Mumbai cafe to create this one-of-a-kind design using their actual coffee beans, so it even has that amazing coffee aroma. This is a custom hand-painted Nike Air Force 1 that's truly an experience.
Here's the final reveal of a custom pair of Nike Air Force 1s I created for a huge football fan. Getting the details right, like the deconstructed football pattern and the custom leather swoosh, took hours but the result was so worth it. This is what my custom sneaker art is all about.
A little glimpse into one of my hands-on art workshops. I love seeing people get creative and bring their own ideas to life, whether it's on sneakers or leather goods. Everyone is focused on their project, and I'm there to guide the process.
People see the clean, finished art, but I think it's important to show the beautifully chaotic process behind it. This video shows the journey of these custom black Air Force 1s, from a messy paint palette to a sharp, vibrant cartoon design.
Hi, I'm Ridhii, the artist behind the custom work you see here. My studio is my creative space, surrounded by inspiration and a whole lot of sneaker boxes. This is where I design and paint everything by hand.
Want to start painting your own sneakers? I break down the first few steps in this video. I show you how I prep the shoe with acetone and start laying down the base colors using my go-to Angelus leather paints. It's all about working in clean layers.
About Featured
If you are looking to get your own kicks customized or want to learn the craft yourself, the process is simpler than you think. I work with leather and canvas bases like Nike Air Force 1s, using the 'Prep-Paint-Protect' method to ensure that every design is durable and water-resistant. Whether it is a solo pair or a bulk corporate order, the paint stays on and the art stays sharp.
How My Customization Process Works
I won't sugarcoat it, making wearable art is a serious process. It starts with stripping the factory finish from your sneakers, which is non-negotiable if you want the design to last. I use industry-standard Angelus leather paints because they flex with the shoe. I don't just copy trends, I want to hear your story. Whether you want a pet portrait, a deconstructed football pattern, or my signature coffee-dye finish, we take your wild ideas and put them on leather.
Join the Workshops
If you want to get hands-on, I host workshops for sneakerheads, groups, and corporate teams. You do not need an art degree to show up. In my 3 to 4-hour sessions, I break down exactly how to prep, paint, and seal your own kicks. It gets a little chaotic, and it might get a little messy, but you walk away with a pair of shoes that no one else has.
The Art Nook: Live Events
For events, I set up 'The Art Nook' as a live activation station. I do 'Flash Art' on leather tags, passport covers, or totes for your guests. It’s quick, it’s instant, and it adds that personal touch to any event.
Quick Reality Check
- Base Items: For workshops, I do not provide the shoes. You bring your own clean, leather or canvas pair (White Nike Air Force 1s are the best canvas to start with).
- Durability: I use high-quality finishers to make sure the paint is water-resistant.
- Timeline: Custom commissions vary based on design complexity. If you have a specific date in mind, hit me up sooner rather than later.
