About Varmala Preservation Clocks
I don't just pour resin and hope for the best. For these clocks, I meticulously dry your petals to maintain their original colour before layering them in high-gloss, UV-resistant resin. This process is time-consuming, but it ensures your varmala doesn't brown or yellow over time, keeping those wedding day flowers looking as vibrant as they did when you first wore them.

My goal is to give your wedding flowers a purpose beyond the wedding album. A resin clock is a functional piece of art—it sits on your wall, and every time you check the time, you're reminded of your special day. Whether it's an 8-inch accent piece or a 16-inch centrepiece, each clock is built to last.
My Preservation Process
Resin is a delicate medium, especially with organic materials.
- Flower Drying: I don't use fresh flowers directly as they trap moisture and cause rot. I carefully dry your varmala petals first.
- Bubble Removal: You might notice a bit of micro-bubbling in other resin work, but I use a heat gun technique to clear these, ensuring the resin looks like glass.
- UV Coating: Sunlight can yellow epoxy over time, so I apply a UV-resistant finish to protect the clarity of the piece.
Make It Personal
While the varmala petals form the base of your clock, we can add so much more. Many couples ask me to embed:
- Wedding photos in the centre
- Marriage dates and names in vinyl
- Smaller accessories like rice-puff kaleeras or pearls
