It starts with the flowers. I use a professional silica sand dehydration process that takes 3-4 weeks. This is non-negotiable because it removes the moisture that could ruin the resin later. Once the flowers are ready, I set them into high-quality, non-yellowing epoxy. For clocks, I use a silent-sweep quartz mechanism so the ticking doesn't disturb your peace, and I add brass or acrylic numerals that contrast beautifully against the petals. For clutches and bangles, I focus on durability, ensuring the edges are smooth and the resin is polished to a shine that feels natural against your skin.
Caring for Your Keepsake
- Clocks: Keep them away from direct sunlight for long periods to preserve the color of the petals, though my resin is UV-resistant.
