Shubh Shiksha & Sehra Frames

The 'Shubh Shiksha' is a sacred part of the vidaai ceremony, representing the wisdom and love a family shares with a bride as she begins her new life. I find it deeply moving to work on these pieces, as they are not just decor; they are tangible memories of a family's blessing.

When I design these frames, my focus is on blending the aesthetics with the emotion. I carefully arrange dried flowers, often sourced from the wedding decor itself, to border the text. Whether you have the blessing written in Hindi, English, or a regional language like Dogri, I ensure the script remains clear and elegant, often highlighting it with gold foil or pearl accents for a premium finish.

For the grooms, I also create frames dedicated to the 'Sehra'—the poetic verses sung by sisters during the Sehra Bandhi ceremony. Like the Shiksha frames, these can include a photograph of the couple to make the keepsake even more personal.

My process involves:

• Document Preservation: I treat and seal paper documents before casting them in resin to prevent any translucency, ensuring the words stay sharp.
• Floral Curation: I use dried petals and buds that complement the color theme of your wedding attire or the bridal trousseau.
• Custom Framing: From teakwood floating frames to clear resin edges, I offer various sizes that fit well on a console table or a bedside wall.
