About Custom Floral Clocks
You do not need a massive bouquet to create a clock. If you have fewer flowers, I can blend them with other dried blooms or complementary foliage to create a full, beautiful design. Simply pack up your treasures and courier them to my Delhi studio, and I will handle the rest—from drying the petals to setting the quartz clock mechanism.
How We Turn Flowers into Clocks
Preserving your wedding varmala or bouquet into a clock involves a multi-step process that ensures your memories last for years. Once your flowers arrive at my studio, I start by treating them with silica sand to remove moisture. This step is critical because it preserves the color and shape of the petals, which would otherwise rot or wilt.
After drying, I arrange them in resin. I use high-gloss, UV-resistant epoxy that stays clear over time. The clock itself is sturdy—usually between 12 to 16 inches—making it a functional piece of art rather than just a showpiece. Whether you prefer a clean, transparent look or an opaque, marble-effect base, I can customize the finish to match your home decor.
Personalization Options
- Photos: I can embed a high-resolution wedding photograph directly into the center of the clock.
- Details: We can add your names, wedding date, or a hashtag using vinyl lettering.
- Style: Want a bit of sparkle? I can add gold or silver foil flakes, pearls, or even LED lights for a dramatic look.
Logistics and Care
- Courier: You can safely pack your items and send them to me in Delhi. I will guide you on how to pack them so they arrive safely.
- Timeline: The entire drying, curing, and assembly process takes 2 to 3 weeks. I prefer to take my time because rushing the curing process can lead to bubbles or uneven finishes, and I want your clock to be perfect.
- Maintenance: These clocks are durable, but try to keep them away from direct, harsh sunlight to maintain the vibrancy of the preserved flowers for as long as possible.
