About Lotus Pond Creations
It is not just about pouring resin. To get that 3D 'Lotus Pond' effect, I hand-paint every lotus and lily pad in individual layers. I cast these between clear pours to create actual depth, so the koi fish and flowers look like they are swimming or floating inside the table. It takes patience to get that gloss just right, but that is exactly how I like it—no shortcuts.
My obsession with resin art is about more than just making furniture. It is about capturing a moment of peace. When I started experimenting with the Lotus Pond theme, I wanted to move away from static designs. Every piece you see here is a result of trial and error, figuring out how to make resin hold a scene that looks alive.
How I Build Your Lotus Pond
Each project is a multi-day process. I start by sketching the composition to ensure the koi fish and lotus placement feels natural. The wood is hand-picked for its grain and character, often using Acacia or Teak slabs. The 'pond' is then built using high-quality, UV-resistant casting epoxy that I pour in stages. If you are looking at a side table or a mirror frame, know that these are not mass-produced items—they are functional art pieces that I build from scratch.
Customization Options
- Tables: We can integrate your choice of wood slabs, from live-edge Acacia to seasoned Teak.
- Colors & Life: Want different koi fish colors or specific lotus flower hues? We can match the palette to your room's decor.
- Functional Pieces: This theme works beautifully on round side tables, rectangular coffee tables, and even custom-framed mirrors for your entryway.
Because I am a one-man team handling the casting, sanding, and polishing, every piece gets the attention it needs to shine. If you have a specific space in your home that needs a calm centerpiece, reach out and we can design it together.
