About Statement Resin Tables
Resin tables are beautiful, but they require a little extra care. I build these with marine-grade plywood and heat-resistant resin to handle daily life, but I always recommend using coasters for hot mugs to keep the surface perfect for years. Each table I pour has its own flow and organic shape, so while you can select your colors, crystal centers, and leg styles, the final pattern will be truly unique to your specific piece.
How We Build Your Table
When you order a table from me, we aren't just picking something off a shelf. I work on each piece individually, which is why I love the process of collaborating with you.
- The Foundation: I use marine-grade plywood or high-density MDF as the base. It is sturdy and keeps the table from warping.
- The Resin Pour: I use a heat-resistant epoxy that handles temperatures up to 60-70 degrees Celsius. This makes the table functional for living rooms or office desks where you might place your laptop or a tea tray.
- The 'Druzy' Center: For my geode-inspired designs, I use real crystals, crushed glass, and gold leafing. I place these by hand to make sure the center sparkles just right.
Choosing Your Style
Many of my clients come to me with a specific mood in mind. Here is how we usually decide:
- Ocean Vibes: These are perfect if you want to bring a sense of calm to your office or lounge. I mix layers of blues, greens, and white for that 'waves hitting the shore' look.
- Geode Luxury: These are all about drama and sparkle. I use emerald greens, deep blacks, or soft marbles with gold edges. These look incredible in modern, minimalist living rooms.
Practical Details
Every table comes with sturdy metal hairpin legs, usually in gold or black, that stand at a standard 16-18 inch coffee table height. Because these are handmade, no two tables will ever be identical.
